Speaker Details
Charlie Soh (Insitutional Dealer, Author, External Advisor)
Charlie Soh, an institutional dealer with UOB Kay Hian, is responsible for equity sales to high net worth individuals and institutional clients. He is the author of the book entitled Profit From Online Stock Investment, published by McGraw-Hill, which is available in all major bookstores in Singapore. He is also the external advisor of special projects at the School of Business, Nanyang Polytechnic. Before joining the company, he was a software manager at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), where he was engaged in software development for investment portfolio management. He was also previously a Senior Tutor at the National University of Singapore, where he taught courses and conducted research in Information Technology. Charlie holds a Master Degree in Information Science from the National University of Singapore, and Computer Science and Economics degrees from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
Ken Tai (CMT Level II, Affiliated Member of Market Technician Association, Established Private Trader, CEO of TraderResearch)
Ken began his career as a broker in various security houses specializing in trading the volatile Equities Market in Singapore.
He is an affiliated member of MTA (Market Technician Association), and is currently holding CMT Level 2 in 2003. He specializes in Cycles, Channel, Elliott Wave Theory, Japanese Candlestick, Fibonacci and System Trading. With his deep interest derived through books from John J. Murphy, J.M. Hurst, Steve Nison, Bob Prechters, Jack D. Schwager and Perry J. Kaufman, he is now a successful private trader.In 29 Dec 2001, he setup Trader Research (www.traderresearch.com.sg) to provide end-of-day tools for traders and he is now using NextView Advisor Professional as a real time tool.
